Fashion Design

Costumes speak for themselves. Whether it be a wandering knight or a nervous banker, you will be called to clothe them and bring them to life in LaSalle College Montréal's DCS in Fashion Design (Profile in Costume for Cinema and Television).

Conceptualizing a costume requires extensive research and time travel in the past or into the future. In the cinema and television industry, costumes need to be produced in step with the scriptwriter. Demonstrate your adaptability by mimicking the natural wear-and-tear of clothes during a short or long film and keeping the clothing style cohesive throughout.

Note: This program shares the same core courses as Fashion Design (for the first 2 years).

LaSalle College has three annual start dates: fall, winter, and summer.

We accept applications at any time. Registration is open year-round.

• Canadian applicants: up to two weeks,
• International applicants: up to six months.
